Phytochemistry

Main chemical constitutes of Terminalia chebule are chebulagic acid, chebulinic acid, corilagin & chebulaginic acid.1. Eclipta contains Ecliptasaponin C, daucosterol (2), stigmasterol-3-O-glucoside. And alkaloid ecliptine.2,3. The principle ingredients of Cyperus rotundus are Routundines (A,B and C), sesquiterpenes (beta-selinene, isocurcumenol, aristone), hydrocarbons, isorotundine, cyperadine, cyperodione.4,5,6. Main chemical components of Piper longum are piperine, rutin, beta- caryophyllene piperyline, piperoleines, piperamine and limonene.7 Phyllanthus primarily containslignans like Phyllanthine and hypophyllanthine, alkaloids & flavonoids like quercetine.8. Main chemical components of Piper longum are piperine, rutin, beta- caryophyllene piperyline, piperoleines, piperamine and limonene.9. The active principle of Picrorhiza kurroa are iridoids (picroside 1& 2), feruloyl catalpol, pikuroside and picroliv.10. Plumbago zeylanica is made up of plumbagin. The active constituent of Tinospora cordifolia are diterpene glucosides (A-D), cordiofolisoide (A-C).11,12. the active ingredients of Apium graveolens are apiin, apigenin & chlorogenic acid..




Clinical Pharmacology

Livful syrup protects liver cells & prevents viral entry, clears HBsAg & HBeAg, the surface antigen of Hepatitis B virus. Also antagonises the toxic effects of hepatotoxic drugs & normalises elevated liver enzymes. Livful restores normal liver function faster. It counteracts hepatic & spleenic enlargements, improves convalescence & promotes appetite, as well as offers anti-oxidant protection to counteract oxidative injuries. Livful syrup relieves G.I upset due to Hepatic insufficiency. Livful is safe for all age group & for prolonged administration.

Dosage

Adult: 2 tsf (10ml.) twice daily
Children (above 5yrs of age): Half of the adult dose.
Children (bellow 5yrs of age): ½ tsf twice daily
Maintenance dose: One tsf twice daily



Presentation

200 ml in pet bottle.
