Phytochemistry
Guggulu contains guggulsterones. The active constituents of
Tinospora cordifolia are diterpene glucosides (A - D)
1, cordioside, cordiofolioside (A - C)
2, cordiol, syringin
3, diterpene furanolactones tinosporide
4 and columbin
5. The principle constituents of
Rubia cordifolia are hydroxyanthraquinones, gallic acid and tannins
6. The anti-bacterial constituents in
Rubia cordifolia are alizarin, rubimallin, beta- sitosterol and daucostero
7. The active ingredients of
Emblica officinalis are tannoids (emblicanin A & B, punigluconin, and pedunculagin)

9, nonsesquiterpenoids, phenolics, proanthocyanidins

Moringa olifera are pterygospermin, moringine and moringinine. The active ingredients of
Glycyrrhiza glabra are glabridin and glabrene, licochalcone A, licoricidin and licoisoflavone B, isoflavonoids (3-arylcoumarin, pterocarpan, & isoflavan), gancaonols, vestitol, licoricone, 1- methoxyphaseollidin, glycyrin, formononetin, isolicoflavonol, glyasperin D, 6,8-diprenylorobol, gancaonin I, dihydrolicoisoflavone A

Clinical Pharmacology
Sepno has immunomodulatory, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-cancer, anti-tumor and anti-mutagenic actions.
Guggulu has anti-inflammatory and potent anti-oxidant actions.
Tinospora cordifolia has potent immunomodulatory and immunostimulatory activities, which increases levels of antibodies and activates macrophages.
Rubia cordifolia has potent anti-bacterial activity.
Emblica officinalis has potent immnomodulatory and anti-oxidant actions. Glycyrrhizin from
Glycyrrhiza glabra exhibits potent anti-viral activity. Moringa olifera has anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
Glycyrrhiza glabra remarkably potentiates reticuloendothelial system and enhances immunostimulation.
Sepno by the virtue of its immunoboosters, enhances both humoral and cell meidated immunity. The use of Sepno prevents infection in children which is usually triggered by the changing seasons. Sepno syrup and tablet prevents recurrent infections. Sepno is safe for long-term use. Sepno syrup also reduces the duration and cost of antibiotic therapy. It is a safe and effective adjuvant to anti-microbial therapy.
Indications
Recurrent infections.
Contraindications
There are no absolute contraindications for the use of Sepno.
Adverse Effects
Sepno is not known to have any adverse effects if taken in prescribed dosage.

None.
Dosage
Initially 2 tablets twice daily followed by 1 tablet with luke warm water.
